Summer camp, but make it elevated.
Set along the banks of Northern California’s Russian River, this is the type of resort that evokes the best parts about summer camp (fresh air, cool dips in the river and nightly s’mores around the fire pit) and none of the annoying stuff (mediocre food, plastic mattresses and nosy camp counselors). And to top it all off, it’s surprisingly chic. I love a nostalgic stay and this one delivers in spades.

How did we get here?
My parents live in Northern California, so we took a short trip here together in the summer of 2023. In addition to my parents (both in their seventies), my husband and young son came along for the adventure.
